1 cup butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Cups flour
1 Cup finely chopped pecans
1 T. Vanilla

Praline filling:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 t.vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter; gradually add powdered sugar, beating at medium speed; add flour\, mix. stir in pecans and Vanilla; Shape dough into 1 inch ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and press thumb into center of ball making indentation, Bake at 360 for 10-12 minutes.

Filling: Melt butter in pan. add brown sugar and salt; bring to boil; for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat add evaporated milk. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Cool and put a bit in each cookie's indentation.
