1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup + 1tsp confectioners sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
1 cup finely chopped nuts
2 cups sifted flour
powdered sugar for dusting

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a bowl combine butter and sugar and mix well.
Add egg yolk, vanilla and almond extracts and beat until combined.
Add flour a little at a time until a dough forms then add the ground nuts.
Form dough into 1 inch balls and then shape into a crescent.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Remove to cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
