2¼ cups AP flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 sticks salted room temp butter
¼ cup white sugar
¼ cup light brown sugar
1 (3.4 ounces) package of instant vanilla pudding mix
2 large eggs at room temp
1 tsp vanilla extract
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chip

Preheat oven to 350º
Prep 3 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Whisk flour and baking soda together and set aside.
With a mixer, beat the egg, sugar, and pudding mix on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until the ingredients are well incorporated.
Using a small # 60/1 cooky scoop, scoop balls of dough two inches apart on the cooky sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
Remove and cool. Transfer to a cooling rack.

These freeze well. but honestly. You won't get that far.
Arguably a childhood favorite, Each of us, had our way of raiding the fresh supply. I would walk by and grab several. Dad had his with milk, Gina on a small plate
Billy the whole bag. Nope, I do not think any cookies ever made it to the freezer.
