1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp.vanilla
2 beaten eggs
1 cup peanut butter
3 cups sifted flour
2 tsp baking soda
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream shortening, sugars and vanilla. Add beaten eggs and beat thoroughly. Stir in peanut butter. Sift in dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture.

Form into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with fork to make criss cross.

Bake at 375º for 10 minutes.
