4 c flour
⅓ c corn starch
¾ tsp salt
1 c butter - room temperature
1 c sugar
2 eggs
t tsp vanilla

ICING:
3 c icing sugar
2 egg whites
¼ tsp cream of tartar
water to thin *option with lemon or orange juice
Directions:
Directions:
1. Sift flour, corn starch and salt.
2. Cream sugar and butter with a paddle. Add egg and vanilla, scrape bowl and mix.
3. Pour in flour mixture and mix till incorporated. Wrap and chill 30 min.
4. Roll our on flowered surface to ¼ inch thickness.
5. Bake on cookie sheet 375º for 12 min. Do not over cook and remove before begin to brown. Let set on sheet for 5 min then cool on rack.

ICING:
6. Combine Icing sugar, cream of tartar and egg whites. Mix on high for 2 min. Add vanilla and whip till white again.
7. Add water/ flavouring/ citrus juice until icing flattens after 15 seconds.
8. Remove 1/3 icing, and mix in desired colour. Drizzle coloured icing over white. Dip in cookie and allow to dry on rack. Store only after completely dry.
