1 c butter
½ c peanut butter
1 c w sugar
⅔ c b sugar
2 eggs +1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla
pinch salt
2¾ c flour
1¼ tsp baking soda
1¼ semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ c fine shopped peanuts
¼ c whole peanuts for garnish

Pre heat oven to 325ºF
In a large mixing bowl beat softened butter, peanut butter, white and brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy and well blended add eggs and continue to beat.
measure out the flour add soda and chocolate chips and chopped peanuts and remove the mixing beaters, add all dry ingredients and blend with a wooden spoon.
Take care to not over work the batter just pull it together in about 15 seconds.
using a cookie portion scoop.
drop onto silicon paper lined cookie sheets, pop into pre heated oven for approx. 12 min. careful to not over bake these cookies are meant to be soft in the center and chewy!

My purpose for Creating this recipe was to find a cookie that all peanut butter batter cookie lovers would appreciate.
every peanut butter cookie I had tasted or made were either dry or crumbly, and that soft batter got lost,
I believe this cookie is softer, and more tender yet a bit chewy.
My family have always been peanut butter lovers.
