2 Sticks Butter, softened.
1 cup Sugar.
6 eggs.
1/2 Pint Heavy Cream.
1 shot Anisette or Anise Flavor - 1 Shot ='s 3 Tablespoons.
6 Teaspoons Baking Powder.
6 Cups Flour.

Icing
1/2 cup Milk
Confectionery Sugar
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Multi-Color Sprinkles

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter & Sugar together.
Add eggs, cream & flour.
Mix 1 cup flour to 6 teaspoons baking powder, then add the rest of the flour.

Dust flour on a board & knead until smooth. Do not use too much flour or you will have a hard cookie.

Put in bowl and refrigerate for about 20 minutes to 1/2 hour.

Dough needs to be workable.

Put on buttered Cookie Sheet.

Bake @ 350 - 375 for 10 minutes.

When cookies are cool, take them one by one and dip them in the Confectionery Sugar, add sprinkles later.
