1¼ Tbsp. pickling salt
1¼ Tbsp. granulated sugar
½ cup vinegar
1 clove garlic (I use more - I put in the bottom and towards the top)
A few sprigs dill (I put dill on bottom of jar and dill heads on top)
cucumbers

Directions:
Directions:
Boil lids in small saucepan.
In bottom of 1 quart jar place garlic, dill, and pack with clean cucumbers (ends trimmed). Add sugar and salt, garlic, vinegar and more dill. Fill jars with boiling water and seal. I give them a shaking to dissolve the salt and sugar.
Let stand 2 or 3 weeks before using.
