1 yellow onion, diced
2 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups chicken broth
3 cups water
1 lb ham cut into pieces
1 lb split green peas
1 tsp Thyme
2 bay leaves
2 medium carrots, cut into coins
4-5 stalks celery chopped
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onions, carrots and celery for 3-4 minutes.

Add all ingredients to Instapot and cook for 12 minutes or in large pot and simmer until peas are soft about 45 minutes.
