1 C. butter,soft
1/2 C. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp.vanilla
2 1/4 C. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 C. finely chopped pecans
Hershey's chocolate kisses (optional)
2 C. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
Mix thoroughly butter, powdered sugar and vanilla
Mix together flour and salt and stir into butter ,sugar and vanilla
Mix in nuts by hand
Chill dough
By hand roll bits of dough into 1 " balls ( now if you want to add a kiss this is the time to do it, just wrap the dough around the candy )
Place balls on cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper, they do not spread.
Bake for 10 minutes or until set, but not brown
While still warm, roll them in powdered sugar. Cool and roll again.
