1 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3 t vanilla
1 cup sour cream
1 t salt
2 t baking soda
5 ½ cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs & vanilla. Add sour cream.
2. Combine salt, soda & flour. Add to mixture.
3. Roll out on floured surface to ¼” to 1/3” thick.
4. Cut with cookie cutter.
5. Use spatula to slide onto greased (pan) or parchment paper lined cookie sheets.
6. Bake at 375º for 7-8 minutes. **Will not look done. No brown.**
7. Wait about 5 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack. NO LONGER.
8. Frost when cooled.

Frost with -
½ cup butter, softened (1 stick)
4 cups powdered sugar
2 t vanilla
¼ - 1/3 cup milk

1. Cream butter.
2. Beat in sugar & vanilla until crumbly.
3. Gradually add milk until desired consistency.
4. Separate & add food coloring.
5. Frost cooled cookies.
