Mixed together half a cup of shortening, one cup of sugar, two eggs.
Stir in two tablespoons of heavy cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
Sift together two and a half cups of flour, a fourth of a teaspoon of baking soda, half a teaspoon of salt.
Filling: mix in a saucepan 1 cup, sugar 4, tablespoons of flour, stir in one and a half cups of well-drained crushed pineapple, 4 tablespoons of lemon juice, Fourth of a teaspoon of nutmeg, and 3/4 of a cup of pineapple juice.

Chill dough and then roll as thin as possible.
Cut into 3-in rounds and place on a lightly greased sheet tray.
Place one tablespoon of filling in each round fold over and pinch ends.
Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes until light brown.
