1 cup poppy seed
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar

Bring to a boil then lower heat and cook until thick. Set aside to cool.

1/2 cup warm water
2 packages yeast
1 teaspoon sugar

3/4 cup scalded milk
3/4 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1 stick butter
2 eggs, beaten
5 1/2 cups flour

Melted butter

Stir yeast and sugar into warm water. Set aside.
Mix remaining ingredients. Form into ball and let rise until doubled in size. Divide into two pieces. Roll out dough and spread poppy seed mixture on dough. Brush with melted butter. Roll like a cinnamon roll. Let rise again. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown. Brush with melted butter.
