Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was my Grandma Beske's (Great Grandma Donna's mom) recipe. We use to "paint" cookies every holiday using egg yolk thinned with a little water then tint with food coloring. Cookies are painted before they are baked.

I also use this recipe and frost with royal icing!

1 lb powdered sugar
¼ cup meringue powder
1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
water
Mix powdered sugar and meringue powder. Add water 1 Tbsp at a time until spreadable consistency for piping bag or squeeze bottle. Add extract and whip
until smooth.
