Grammy's Pineapple Cake Recipe

Cake:
2 cups flour
]1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon salt
20 ounce can of crushed pineapple, undrained
2 eggs

Sauce:
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup Milnot
1 stick butter
1/2 cup nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cake:
Mix all ingredients together and beat with mixer for 3 minutes.
Pour batter in a greased and floured 9 x 13 baking pan for cake or in a 12 x 16 pan for bar cookies.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup of brown sugar on top of cake.
Bake for 35 minutes at 350º. Time may need to be reduced for bar cookies.

Sauce:
In pan, mix together sugar, Milnot and butter. Cook for 6 minutes (keeping to light boil).
Add nuts and vanilla.
Mix well and pour over partially cooled cake.
