1 1/4 cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 3/4 cups plus 2 TBSP Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 cups Confectioner's Sugar
1/2 cup Maraschino Cherries
2 pkgs. 3 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
1 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 tsp Triple Sec

Directions:

Cookies: Mix 1 cup butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then 2 3/4 cups flour, salt and baking powder and soda. Drop a teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet and press your thumbprint in the center of each cookie. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350º.
Filling: Mix 1 1/2 Confectioner's Sugar, cherries, 2 TBSP flour and cream cheese in food processor. Drop a teaspoon in the thumbprint. Topping: Melt chocolate chips and butter and then add Triple Sec. Roll out in wax paper and top each cookie.
