1 cup shortening, she used lard
½ cup milk
3 cups flour (about)
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake between 375⁰ - 400⁰ until golden - about 10 minutes.

Donald - When the kids and I make these we often sprinkle colored sugar on the cookie before baking. It just decorates them and they taste good that way also.
