Cookie:
Cream butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla & milk in the mixer.
In a large bowl mix together flour & baking powder.
Add flour mixture 1 C at a time into the mixer.
Once incorporated, line the bowl with plastic wrap, add dough and wrap it up.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Once dough is chilled, add some flour to your rolling board. (This will not work well in a warm space.) Cut dough in half and roll with rolling pin. Sprinkle flour over dough and gently rub over the flour to coat. Use cookie cutter of your choice to cut cookies.
Once ALL cookies are cut, preheat your oven to 350º.
Bake cookies one tray at a time, for 7 minutes.
Let cookies cool completely before decorating.

Icing:
Add all ingredients in mixer, and combine. Add coloring if desired.
Once icing in on the cookies, let sit for 1-2 hours to harden a little.
Place iced cookies into an AIR TIGHT container.
Cookies will keep in container for 1 week.
