Ingredients:
Ingredients:
½ Cup Butter (1 Stick) (room temperature)
2 Cups Brown Sugar (packed)
2 Eggs (room temperature)
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
½ Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1½ Cups Christmas M&Ms (red and green) (divided)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with foil and grease with cooking spray (making it easier to get bars out of pan). If leaving in pan, then grease it. Set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the butter and brown sugar until crumbly; mixing well. Add eggs and vanilla; beating until smooth.

Mix in salt and baking powder. Then add flour and beat until just combined. Stir in only 1¼ cups of M&Ms.

Spread dough in the prepared pan. The mixture will be sticky, so spraying your hands with cooking spray or wetting with just a little water can help spread the dough evenly. Top mixture with remaining M&Ms and slightly press into the dough.

Bake for 22-25 minutes or until it starts to turn golden. Be sure to rotate pan ½ turn at halfway point of baking. Don’t over bake; as they will continue baking as they cool.

Remove from oven and place on wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares. Store in airtight container.

Variations: You can use substitute any flavored candy, chips or different colored M&Ms to make the dessert seasonal or to your taste.
