2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flour
5 cups oats
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
Chocolate chips
Pecans (optional)
2 frozen and grated Hershey bars (1/4#)

Directions:
Directions:
In blender, blend oats into flour.
Cream together butter and sugars
Add eggs, vanilla and flours mixing thoroughly.
Add salt, b. powder, b. soda. Mix well.
Add chocolate chips, nuts, grated chocolate bar.
Roll into golf ball size balls. Bake at 375º for 6-8 minutes. Don't overbake.

This recipe works well halved. I sometimes change it up with white chocolate chips only.
