2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp nutmeg, plus more for topping
½ tsp cinnamon
¾ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp rum extract
½ cup eggnog (not low fat)

Frosting:
½ cup. Butter, at room temperature
3-5 Tbsp eggnog
½ tsp rum extract
3 cups powdered sugar

1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and brown
sugar until pale and fluffy.
3. Mix in eggs, vanilla, rum extract and eggnog just until combined.
4. Add flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon just until combined.
5. Mix in eggs, vanilla, rum, and eggnog.
6. Drop by tablespoon onto greased or parchment lined cookie sheets, ~2 inches
apart.
7. Bake for 11-13 minute. Cool completely.
8. Frost with frosting and sprinkle tops lightly with nutmeg.

Frosting:
1. Whip butter until very pale and fluffy.
2. Add in rum extract, eggnog, powdered sugar. Add additional eggnog to reach
desired consistency.
