1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 c. sifted flour

Reserve egg whites
Chopped nuts

Directions:
Cream butter until soft. Blend in sugar, add egg yolk beating until light. Add flour and roll dough into small balls (1" in diameter). Dip in unbeaten egg white, then roll in chopped nuts. Bake slow in about 300º oven for about 20 min.
