1 lb lean Hamburger
1 lb Italian sausage ( or1/2 lb of spicy)
2 can Italian diced tomatoes
1 can Crushed tomatoes
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
2 Tbs tomato paste
1 Onion
1/2 Bell Pepper
1 stick of celery
2 tsp diced Garlic
2 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Basil
1 tsp Onion Powder
2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp celery salt
1 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2-1 tsp Red pepper flakes
Splash of Cooking Wine or Balsamic Vinegar

Directions:

Brown hamburger and sausage together and pour out grease leaving 1-2 tablespoons of grease in pan. Add diced onion and cook until tender. Add veggies and cook for a minute or so. Add tomato products and seasonings except red pepper flakes and wine.
Simmer on low for at least 1 hour uncovered. Add pepper flakes and wine and continue to cook for at least another 15-20 minutes or until you have reached the consistency of sauce you want. Add salt and pepper.

I tried to remember the best I could Grandma Jo's recipe but this is the best I could do. Hers was much better, but this one is pretty good.
