Ingredients: 8 Egg Yolks ( I use Jumbo but you can use any size large and up)
4 Whole Eggs
1 Cup of Sugar
1 tsp of Salt
3 Shot Glasses of Whiskey
4 Cups or more of All Purpose Flour

Beat Eggs, sugar, salt and Whiskey in a bowl.
Place the flour on a pastry board and make a well in the flour.
Add mixture in the middle and mix into dough by hand until it reaches a Sweet Bread consistency.
Then roll very thin 1/5 inch thick and cut into 1 x 3 inch strips. Make a slit in the middle of each strip and fold one end through the strip. This will shape the cookie.
Fry in the hot oil (check to see if oil is hot enough by throwing a small piece of the dough into the oil and if it rises to the top, the oil is hot enough).
Fry till they are golden brown and drain on paper towels. Once cooled sprinkle confectioners sugar on top and Enjoy.
Note:
If you are uneasy about mixing dough the old fashioned way you can do this in a mixer with a dough hook attachment.

Notes: I remember going over to my Aunt Diana's house and watching her make these cookies. I especially like these at Easter. I remember the fun we had and the memory that we made that day.
