"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 Egg Yolks ( I use Jumbo but you can use any size large and up)

4 Whole Eggs

1 Cup of Sugar

1 tsp of Salt

3 Shot Glasses of Whiskey

4 Cups or more of All Purpose Flour

Directions:

Beat Eggs, sugar, salt and Whiskey in a bowl.

Place the flour on a pastry board and make a well in the flour.

Add mixture in the middle and mix into dough by hand until it reaches a Sweet
Bread consistency.

Then roll very thin 1/5 inch thick and cut into 1 x 3 inch strips. Make a slit in the
middle of each strip and fold one end through the strip. This will shape the cookie.

Fry in the hot oil (check to see if oil is hot enough by throwing a small piece of the
dough into the oil and if it rises to the top, the oil is hot enough).

Fry till they are golden brown and drain on paper towels. Once cooled sprinkle
confectioners sugar on top and Enjoy.

Note:

If you are uneasy about mixing dough the old fashioned way you can do this in a
mixer with a dough hook attachment.

Personal Notes:
I remember going over to my Aunt Diana's house and watching her make these
cookies. I especially like these at Easter. I remember the fun we had and the
memory that we made that day.
