2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. sour milk
2 tsp baking powder
5-6 c. flour
1 tsp soda
½ tsp salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening together; add milk, eggs, and vanilla. Sir in baking powder, soda, salt, and then flour. Roll out on a floured cloth. Cut and bake at 350º for 11 to 12 minutes.

1 lb. powdered sugar
⅓ c. shortening
¼ c. milk
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
