Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs of thin spaghetti
2 large onions diced in larger pieces ( not minced)
3 sticks of butter ( very rich, we cut this in half)
3 cans of tomato paste (6 ounce size)
1 1/2 cans of water (tomato can)
1 Tbls of salt (I use much less)
9 ounces of parmesan chees

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package directions.
Rinse and drain in colander.
Melt the butter and sauté the onions until wilted and slightly transparent.
Add the tomato paste, water and salt.
Stir well. Add half the parmesan cheese and stir.
Add the drained pasta and mix well.
Divide into two backing dishes.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
Cook at 350 degrees until the pasta gets crispy.

TIPS:
The crust is our favorite part so I use a large shallow pan so that there is
TONS of crust!!
An amazingly rich dish so you can easily cut the butter in half without changing the taste.
This is a triple recipe
Fantastic comfort food and great for parties.
