Box of Nabisco chocolate wafers
Quart of heavy cream.
Tsp. vanilla
2-3 tbsp. powdered sugar

Whip cream. vanilla and sugar until set. (Nanny turned the bowl upside down, if it stays, it's done.)

Layer cookies (4 per serving) with cream in-between layers.

Cover entire stack with whipped cream (no chocolate should be showing).

Makes about 10. Do not let them touch sides. Cover tightly and leave in refrigerator for 24 hours.

You can garnish with anything you like, sprinkles, colored sugar, cherry, etc.

This is a family favorite for Christmas celebrations. It is so simple yet loved. No one has ever made it as good as Nanny, my Great Grandmother but I love trying each year.
