Preheat oven to 225 degrees
* 4 large egg whites at room temp
* 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
*. 1/8 tsp salt
*. 1/2 cup sugar, heated
*. 1tsp vanilla extract
* 12 oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Combine egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt.
Mix with electric or hand mixer till foamy.
Gradually add sugar. Beat till mixture is thick.
Stir in vanilla extract, add chocolate.
Drop by spoonfuls. Bake at 225 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and keep cookies in oven for another 30 minutes. Meringues should be cooled and stored in an airtight container.
