¼ cup warm water
1 ¼ cup boiling water
⅓ cup brown sugar
½ cup butter
1 tsp salt
1 cup dry oatmeal
1 pkg (or 2 ¼ tsp.) yeast
¼ cup warm water
1 egg
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a cup, add yeast to 1/4 cup warm water; set aside. Place butter, brown sugar, salt, and oatmeal in large bowl. Pour boiling water over ingredients. Stir and cool. Add yeast mix, egg, and 2 cups flour; stir well. Add rest of flour, a little at a time. Knead until combined. Place in greased bowl and set in warm place. Let rise until double. Punch down and let rise again. Shape into 24 balls and place on a greased cookie sheet or 9 x 13 pan. Flatten each ball with a greased hand. Let rise until double. Bake at 400º for 12 - 15 minutes.
