4 oz baking chocolate
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
3 T buttermilk
5 tsp red food coloring
1 T vanilla
2½ cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
4 oz white chocolate
2 cup powdered sugar
Chelsey adds ¼ cup cocoa powder and 1½ T buttermilk

Melt chocolate in the microwave and set aside to slightly cool. Cream sugar and butter together. Then add egg. Mix well. Then add chocolate, buttermilk, red dye, vanilla and cocoa powder. Then add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well. Then stir in white chocolate. Dough will be very sticky. Place powdered sugar in shallow bowl, roll cookies to coat in powdered sugar. Place on parchment lined baking sheets cook at 350 for 12 to 14 minutes. Let set on baking sheet for two extra minutes then transfer to wire rack to cool.
