1. Sharp Cheeses, Grammy buys "cheese ends" for a nice mixture of flavors. Greuyere, Cheddar, and whatever you have on hand, shredded. (approx 2 cups)

2. 2 TBSP Flour

3. 1 can beer

4. 1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce

5. 5 slices bacon, cooked crisp (reserve 2 TBSP grease)

6. 1 Garlic Clove

7. Cubed toasted bread chunks for dipping

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sautee sliced garlic clove in bacon grease, remove garlic pieces when browned.

2. Shake shredded cheese with flour, add/melt into medium saucepan (or fondue pot) 1/4 C. at a time, stirring constantly until melted.

3. Slowly add beer, stirring constantly.

4. Season with worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper if needed.

5. Add bacon crumbles, stir, take off heat.

6. Serve with cubed toasted bread for dipping. Reheat as needed, or keep over fondue pot flame. Be careful not to burn it!

Mom (Grammy Durand) used to make this every Christmas eve. We would sit around the coffee table with the fondue pot & forks, stabbing bread and dunking until it was all gone. She LOVED it when the bottom burnt, and claimed it as "hers".
