1 box Duncan Hines spice cake mix
2 cups Old Fashion Oatmeal
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
2 cups raisins or 1 cup raisins and 1 cup dried cherries
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup chopped nuts

Combine and mix well. Drop by tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350 for 10-12 minutes.
