COOKIE
1. 2¼ c. brown sugar
2. 1 c. butter - softened
3. 3 eggs
4. 2½ c. crushed pineapple (well drained - save juice)
5. 1½ tsp baking soda - dissolved in 2 tbsp of pineapple juice
6. 3¾ c. sifted flour
7. 1½ tsp vanilla
8. 1 c. chopped walnuts
9. ¾ tsp salt
10. 1½ tsp baking powder

ICING
1. ½ c. butter
2. 1½ tsp vanilla
3. ½ c. hot pineapple juice
4. 4 c. powdered sugar (at least)

COOKIE
1. Cream sugar and butter.
2. Add all other ingredients.
3. Drop on cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 375º for 10 minutes.
5. Let cool and then ice.
6. Keep in refrigerator.

ICING
1. Melt and brown butter.
2. Add vanilla, pineapple juice, and powdered sugar (enough to make thick frosting).
