Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

1 c. butter
1½ c. brown sugar
½ c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3¼ c. flour
1¼ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1½ tsp. kosher salt
12 oz. chocolate chips
Flaky sea salt

Directions:
Directions:
Brown butter in small skillet.
Whisk browned butter into both sugars, then add eggs and vanilla.
Barely blend dry ingredients, flour through salt, with wet ingredients.
Add chocolate chips.
Refrigerate dough for 5 minutes, then form into 3 Tbsp. balls.
Place on parchment lined baking sheets.
Flatten slightly, then sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
Bake at 360º for 10-12 minutes.

These cookies are amazing! You will swear they have caramel in them.
Be patient browning the butter. Brown it to a rich golden color with solids just starting to darken. The smell will be nutty and irresistable when the butter is sufficiently browned.
