Sift together icing sugar, cornstarch and flour. Blend in butter. Butter needs to be at room temperature. Split dough in half and shape into a ball. Wrap each ball in wax paper or parchment paper and place in fridge for 15-20 min. Bring out dough from fridge and roll it flat to ¼ inch; cut into shapes with cookie cutters of your desire. You can also spoon dough onto cookie sheet if you do not feel like rolling and cutting shapes out.

Decorate with coloured sprinkles and or candied cherries.
