5 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. sugar
4 eggs

Food coloring and decorations

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, salt and vanilla along with the softened butter. Cream the mixture together

In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder thoroughly with a fork.

Slowly begin to add the dry mixture into the wet and work until you have a dough.

Roll out on a floured surface and cut out shapes. Be sure not to roll the dough too thinly. The thinner the cookie, the crispier. The thicker, the chewier - so to your liking.

Bake at 400º for about 8 min. or until they start to lightly brown.

For frosting:
Cream the butter, vanilla and salt together and slowly begin to incorporate the powdered sugar. If you find that it's not coming to the consistency of frosting, add milk.

For decorating:
Divide the frosting into bowls based on how many colors you want to use.
Use drops of food coloring to get the color you desire and stir it all up.

BE SURE THE COOKIES ARE COOLED COMPLETELY BEFORE ICING. If not, it will just melt off.

Frost with a knife and sprinkle/decorate as you wish

Number Of Servings:
Number Of Servings:
About 6 dozen, depending on shapes
