½ C chicken grease
⅓ C lard
1 C sugar
1 egg
5 tbsp molasses
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ t salt
1 ½ - 2 C flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream chicken grease, lard and sugar. Add egg and molasses. Sift together dry ingredients and add. Roll dough into balls and coat in sugar. Press with tumbler. Bake 325º for 10-12 minutes.
