2 c. butter
2 ¼ c. brown sugar
3 c. flour
3 c. oats
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
½ to 1 bottle caramel topping( Mrs. Richardson’s brand preferred)
16 oz. milk chocolate chips ( Guittard brand preferred)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

In a large bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, flour, oats, salt and baking soda. Take ¾ of the mixture and press to a 13x18 (half sheet) cookie sheet, pressing up on the sides.

Bake for 8 minutes.

Let cool, then pour on caramel and spread evenly. Sprinkle on chocolate chips, then sprinkle remaining cookie mixture on top.

Bake an additional 10-12 minutes.
