vegetable oil
eggs.
vanilla
soda
cream of tarter
flour

cream together:
2 eggs,1cup sugar. mix well then add 1cup powder sugar 1cup shortening and
1 cup vegetable oil, while mixing add 1 tsp vanilla .
mix together 4 cups flour and 1tsp. soda and 1 tsp cream of tarter, slowly add to mixture. may add up to 1/4 cup flour more as needed.

CHILL for 1-2 hrs.
preheat oven to 350º
when chilled roll 1 tbsp. of dough at a time in palm of hand, put on cookie sheet, flatten with a glass dipped in sugar, press gently
sprinkle a little sugar on top of cookie before baking if desired.
Bake for 8 minutes, let cool for about 5 minutes before taking off cookie sheet
