2 3/4 cups sugar
5 tbls. melted shortening
3 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 or 3 tsp. vanilla
7 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients alternately with 7 cups flour.

Let dough set for 15 minutes before rolling out.

Deep fry at 350ºF-360ºF - Turn over when golden brown.
