Directions:
Blend flour, salt, and shortening for pie crust - in a cup put egg yolk and milk - add liquid to dry mixure and don't over mix. Split the dough in half and roll out large enough to cover a pizza pan - place in the bottom of the pan.

Crush the corn flakes and sprinkle over the crust and then spread the apples evenly on top. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over apples. Place dots of butter on top of sugar. Roll out the other half of dough and place on tip, pinch the edges where the dough meets. Beat egg whites and spread over the top of the crust - cut vent wholes in the crust.

Bake at 400º for 15 minutes and then reduce heat to 375º for 45 minutes or until the apples bubble and the crust is golden brown.

Frost with powdered sugar and enough water to pour - spread evenly over the top after baking
