Ingredients:  
The best oatmeal cookie. The secret is beating the first 4 ingredients at least twice as long as you normally would.

1 C crisco
1 C brown sugar
1 C white sugar
2 eggs well beaten
2-3 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
3 C quick Quaker oats
1/2 C pecans

Mix first three ingredients. Add flour, etc.
Bake 350 14-15 minutes
