Ingredients:  
Use a hobnail bottomed glass to press cookies. Makes a crisp airy cookie.

1/2 C butter
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C crisco
1/2 C powdered sugar

Cream the above and add:
1 egg
2 1/4 C flour
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp flavoring
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda

Cool dough and form into balls. Press down with glass buttered and dipped in sugar.
Sprinkle with sugar
Bake at 350 6 minutes
