2 c. sugar or substitute
2 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. butter
2 c. cream

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve all but 1 c. of cream and walnuts over low heat in a heavy pan, stirring until mixture boils. Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture reaches 240*F. Remove from heat. Add very gradually the remaining 1 c. of cream. Return to heat and cook to 244*F-246*F. Pour in walnuts and stir in well. Pour the mixture at once into a buttered pan. When cooled and firm (about 3 hours) invert onto a wooden board and cut into squares with a thin bladed knife with a lite sawing motion. Wrap each piece in a small piece of wax paper.
