Dough:
¾ c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 t. salt
2/3 c. oil
1 cake household yeast dissolved in ½ c. of warm water 5-6 c. of flour

Tip: If cake yeast is not available use 2 packets of dry yeast.


Filling:
2 lb. ground walnuts
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
½ c. honey
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 t. vanilla
1 small can (approx. ½ c.) Hershey’s chocolate syrup
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
Enough warm milk to make consistency to spread.

Tip: Add 1 T. vinegar to take away tart flavor

Mix dough ingredients. Let rise for at least 2 hours. Separate into 8 balls. Roll and fill. with prepared walnut mixture. Beat two eggs and lightly brush the top of each roll before baking for a brown shiny finish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

Cut each roll into 8-10 individual pinwheel slices before serving.
