3 1/2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 c. Butter
1 1/2 c. Sugar
2 eggs - well beaten
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar gradually and continue to beat until light. Add well beaten eggs and blend thoroughly. Add vanilla.

Combine the dry ingredients and add to the butter mixture. Mix it together and chill the batter for a few hours. Roll dough as thin as possible on lightly floured board and cut with cookie cutters. I like to line baking sheet with parchment paper but can bake directly on baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar, chopped nuts, coconut or leave plain and ice with buttercream frosting.

Bake in hot 400 degree oven for 6-10 minutes. makes 5-6 dozen depending on the size of cookie cutter.
