2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup Crisco
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 (4oz) box instant vanilla or Cheesecake (my fav)
1 (12oz) pkg. Ghirardelli milk chocoalte morsels

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine flour and baking soda in a bowl and set aside.
2. In a separate bowl, cream shortening, sugars, pudding mix, and vanilla.
3. Beat in eggs gradually.
4. Add flour mixture, then stir in chocolate chips by spoon.
5. You can add chopped nuts, if desired
6. Batter will be stiff.
7. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes until lightly brown.
