1 1/4 cup of soft butter
3/4 cup of packed brown sugar
1/2 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 cups of oatmeal quick oats.

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven at 350 degree's. Beat together butter , sugar, eggs until creamy. Add vanilla and dry ingredients mixing well. Add in the oats stirring all together.
drop by teaspoon or tablespoon ( depending on how big you want your cookie) bake for 8 to 10 minutes and then cool on wax paper.

**You can use raisins, choc chips or butterscotch chips to this recipe with the oats. Yum Yum Good!**
