1¼ c. packed brown sugar
¾ c. white sugar
2 sticks (1 cup) softened butter, room temp
1½ t. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. powdered oatmeal, (just whirl in blender, essential!)
¾ t. salt
¾ t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
2 c (12 oz) chocolate chips, or partially sub other type of chip
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
4 oz chocolate or white chocolate bar, broken into chunks

Preheat oven 350º
Cream sugars w soft butter in large bowl using electric mixer. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Whisk dry ingredients together in separate bowl, add gradually to creamed mixture. Fold in chips, nuts, choc bar. Drop by generous 2 T amount on sprayed cookie sheets, 10-12 minutes. Will be very soft when come out of oven. Allow to cool on cookie sheet 1-2 minutes, remove and finish cooling on wire rack.
