2 ½ Cups flour
¼ tsp. salt (only if you use unsalted butter)
1 cup sugar
¾ cup of butter softened
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract (i use frangelica)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat sugar and butter in mixer,
at medium speed, until mixed well, scraping down sides if necessary.
Add egg, vanilla & almond extract.
Gradually add flour mixture. Beat at low until well blended and forms a ball.
Form dough into 2 discs; wrap and refrigerate for 30 min. or until firm can leave overnight.
Preheat oven 350º take one disc at a time, and press out onto floured surface,
use rolling pin ¼ inch thickness. Cut dough into desired shapes and place on
parchment or stone cooking tray.
Bake 10-12 min. no longer unless a little thicker, so they stay soft, edges may be
golden. Cool completely before icing.
ICING:1 cup confectioners sugar, 2 tsp. milk, 2 tsp. light corn syrup, ¼tsp. almond extract. Can make any colors you want.
